NCXHost colocation plans listed on our website are non-managed colocation plans by default. These plans are designed to provide customers with reliable data center infrastructure for hosting their own physical appliances/servers inside our rack space.
1. What Is Included in Standard Colocation Plans
The standard colocation plan includes infrastructure-level services only. NCXHost is responsible for providing and maintaining the following:
- Redundant electricity
- Cooling
- Internet/network connectivity
- Rack space infrastructure
- Support for issues arising from the above NCXHost-managed infrastructure
If any issue occurs due to power, cooling, network connectivity, or rack infrastructure from our side, NCXHost will take responsibility and resolve it as part of the colocation service.
2. What Is Not Included in Standard Colocation Plans
Standard colocation plans do not include server management, hardware troubleshooting, operating system support, software support, or application-level support.
The customer is responsible for their own appliance/server, including but not limited to:
- Server hardware issues
- RAID/storage issues
- Operating system installation or debugging
- Software installation or configuration
- Application troubleshooting
- BIOS, iDRAC, IPMI, or firmware configuration
- Physical component removal, cleaning, reattachment, or replacement
- Any other work related to the customer’s own hardware, software, or applications
Any such work, if requested from NCXHost, will be treated as Remote Hands Support and will be chargeable separately unless the customer has subscribed to a managed colocation add-on.
3. Remote Hands Support Charges
For customers using standard non-managed colocation plans, Remote Hands Support will be charged at:
₹2,000 + GST per hour
Billing may be calculated in increments of 30 minutes where applicable.
For example:
- 30 minutes of work: ₹1,000 + GST
- 1 hour of work: ₹2,000 + GST
- 2 hours of work: ₹4,000 + GST
Remote Hands charges will be added to the customer’s upcoming invoice.
4. Fully Managed Colocation Add-on
Customers who require regular assistance with their servers may choose the Fully Managed Colocation Add-on.
This add-on costs:
₹8,000 + GST per month
This amount is charged in addition to the customer’s existing colocation plan.
The Fully Managed Colocation Add-on includes up to 20 hours of management/support per month, which may cover:
- Server debugging
- Operating system installation
- Software installation
- Basic server configuration
- Application-level assistance
- Hardware checking and basic troubleshooting
- Remote hands support
- General maintenance assistance
5. Billing Structure
For non-managed colocation customers:
Monthly Colocation Plan Cost Only
Any additional support beyond infrastructure will be billed separately at:
₹2,000 + GST per hour
For fully managed colocation customers:
Monthly Colocation Plan Cost + ₹8,000 + GST per month
This includes up to 20 hours of management/support per month.
6. Important Clarification
NCXHost’s responsibility under standard colocation is limited to data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, network connectivity, and rack space. The customer remains responsible for the condition, configuration, maintenance, and operation of their own server hardware, software, and applications unless a managed service add-on has been purchased.
Any support requested beyond the included infrastructure scope will be considered chargeable Remote Hands Support.
